Recently, Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon shared snippets from the gathering on their Instagram accounts, revealing that they were accompanied by Mira Rajput, Maheep Kapoor, Rima Jain, Bhavana Panday, Geeta Basra, among others.
In Indian culture, the Karwa Chauth festival carries great importance as women observe a full-day fast in hopes of their husbands’ longevity. Each year, Bollywood wives and actresses commemorate this occasion by attending get-togethers at Sunita Kapoor’s residence to perform evening prayers on the day. Just now, Shilpa Shetty posted a video on Instagram providing a peek into these evening festivities.
In the video, Shilpa Shetty, Mira Rajput, Rima Jain, and others are seen exchanging their pooja thalis, a significant ritual for festivals. Towards the end of the video, there’s a group photograph from the evening that includes Rima Jain (wife of Armaan Jain), Anissa Malhotra Jain (wife of Kabir Khan), Mini Mathur (mother of Varun Dhawan), Laali Dhawan (Varun Dhawan’s sister-in-law), and Jaanvi Dhawan (his sister-in-law).
On special occasions, the women are harmoniously dressed in either pink or red traditional Indian attire, such as sarees, creating a stunning visual impact.
