As a long-time fan of Kristen Bell and her remarkable career, I must say that her unique blend of talent, humor, and vulnerability never ceases to impress me. Her ability to infuse a touch of reality into her characters, especially when it comes to Anna from Frozen, is truly commendable.
If there is one thing to know about Kristen Bell, it’s that she’s not a regular mom. She’s a cool mom…who also happens to be a really famous actress. If you ask me, that makes her even cooler, especially given her most recent project Nobody Wants This has been renewed for a Season 2 and boasts a 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While her Netflix series is a bit mature for her 11 and 9-year-old daughters, her other super cool project, the Frozen movies, in which Bell voices the main character Anna, should impress them, right? Unfortunately for the Veronica Mars star, this is not quite the case.
Last year, it was announced that Frozen 3 is in the works alongside other Disney sequels. However, there’s still a small chance that Kristen Bell’s daughters will enjoy this third installment since they haven’t been fans of Disney princess films for quite some time. In fact, as they’ve grown older, their dislike for these movies has only persisted. Recently, in an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress from Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms revealed that while her daughters have developed some appreciation for the films, it may not be in the way we might expect – as she put it.
They value the opportunity to attend college due to it, yet they’re not associated with the Frozen craze. Children often make us feel connected to them, and they tend to distance themselves from things their parents are attached to. Even if they privately enjoyed it, they wouldn’t confess this to me.
Undeniably, the offspring of Bell from The Good Place certainly seem to embody her wit and candor! Among the many aspects I admire about this talented actress and her partner Dax Shepard, it’s their fearless and side-splittingly honest approach to sharing details from their private lives that truly captivates me. Whether they’re discussing more weighty matters like attending couples therapy or simply recounting amusing anecdotes about their kids outsmarting them in unexpected ways, their openness never fails to entertain and inspire.
During the production of “Frozen 2”, the actress known for Gossip Girl admitted that she drew upon her personal experiences with depression when portraying Anna’s struggles. Essentially, Kristen Bell played a significant role in molding Disney’s princess Anna. In a TikTok video, she shared that when she agreed to voice Anna, she specifically asked that she not be the flawless princess that had been traditionally depicted. Instead, she wanted Anna to be an ordinary girl who snores, is clumsy, and enjoys making snowmen.

It strikes me that Kristen Bell’s characters often embody some of her own traits, particularly her sharp sense of humor. Given her charm, it’s not hard to imagine her kids admiring that! In fact, I believe the actress behind the You Again role could be onto something with her theory about her children being stubbornly independent.
I’m quite certain she realizes that while her children might not share my enthusiasm for Frozen, I proudly stand among its loyal supporters. Some folks might express reservations about Frozen 3, but personally, I can hardly wait for Anna and Kristoff’s reunion. Admittedly, I’m intrigued to see where the story goes next, considering Bell mentioned that the films should evolve with the characters as they grow.
From what has been revealed so far about Frozen 3, Anna has taken the throne and accepted Kristoff’s proposal. It’s speculated that a snow dog might be part of their family in the future. I can’t wait to uncover more details about Anna and Elsa’s next adventure soon!
