Triptii Dimri’s journey to fame started when someone ‘taunted’ her and she decided to not leave Mumbai ‘without making it’: ‘Now I have no time to breathe, eat...'

As an ardent fan of Triptii Dimri, I find her journey in Bollywood nothing short of inspiring. Her resilience and determination to prove her worth in the industry after being taunted are truly commendable. The way she navigated through the chaos of her initial days, managing to enjoy the process while keeping her eyes on the prize, is a testament to her strength and character.

Triptii Dimri is thriving during this stage of her acting career. After debuting with Laila Majnu, she’s been involved in a number of significant productions over time. With her recent successes, the actress is heading towards achieving greater heights and establishing herself firmly in the industry. Looking back at her early days, the actress admitted that she refused to return home without making it big in Bollywood following some criticism.

In an interview with The Times Of India, Triptii Dimri spoke about a critical remark that prompted her decision to stay in Mumbai. She said, “Someone made a cutting comment, and on that day I decided I wouldn’t depart from this city without achieving something here.” She explained that when you’re new to the industry, it can be challenging to discern between what is right and what is wrong.

In her 30s, she underlined the point that what might be right and beneficial for one individual may not hold true for another. “Back then, there was a great deal of uncertainty and turmoil. There’s still a lot of chaos today, but I find the present chaos more tolerable compared to the past,” she elaborated. She continued by saying, “Nowadays, I barely have time to take a breath, eat or sleep.

Triptii went on to emphasize that it’s essential to find pleasure in both the stages and the path itself. Drawing from her personal experiences of struggle, she spoke about times when she had no acting opportunities coming her way. She vividly remembered being turned down for every audition, which left her questioning herself. However, she also recounted instances where she wasn’t even supposed to attend an audition but ended up getting the role due to sheer fortune.

On certain occasions, I found myself hanging wallpaper on my walls since I had idle time. I used to think there would be times when I wouldn’t have the chance to do so. Now, I’m thankful that those slow periods are over for me and I remember thinking about it.

On her professional side, Triptii was recently featured in the “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala” video alongside Rajkummar Rao. Moreover, she’s set to appear in the upcoming horror-comedy movie “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” which also stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. This film is scheduled for release on November 1, 2024.
