As a lifestyle expert, I find Vipin Sharma’s journey in Bollywood to be nothing short of inspiring. His ability to work with some of the biggest stars in the industry, from Aamir Khan to Salman Khan, is a testament to his talent and determination.
Actor Vipin Sharma is well recognized for his roles in films such as Gangs of Wasseypur, Kick, Paatal Lok, Monkey Man, and numerous others. Throughout an impressive film journey, this actor has collaborated with stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and many other prominent figures in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Sharma revealed the story behind his collaboration with Salman Khan in Kick. Additionally, he spoke about his persistent efforts to secure a role in Aamir’s film, Taare Zameen Par.
During an interview with Digital Commentary, Vipin Sharma discussed his involvement in the film Kick alongside Salman Khan. Known for his work in Gangs of Wasseypur, Sharma mentioned that while working on Krazzy 4, he had a chance encounter with the late actor Irrfan Khan. It was during this meeting that he got introduced to the production team, eventually landing a role in the Sajid Nadiadwala movie alongside Salman Khan, thus sharing screen time with him in Tiger 3.
In response to being asked about how he landed the part of Nandkishore Awasthi, Yohaan and Ishaan’s father in Taare Zameen Par, Vipin Sharma explained that he crossed paths with writer Amole Gupte when he discovered that a film was being made by Aamir Khan. He admitted that the role wasn’t predestined and felt compelled to give the audition. He also reminisced about working tirelessly on his preparation up until 3 am, and then making his way to Aamir Khan’s office. Although he didn’t know the specifics of the role at the time, he auditioned for it repeatedly before eventually forgetting about it. However, one day Amole contacted him and said, “Aamir has cast you as the father.” Later on, Vipin Sharma disclosed that Aamir Khan happened to see his audition by chance.
During the same interview, the actor from Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster opened up about his experience collaborating with Aamir Khan, both as an actor and director in the movie. Frankly speaking, Sharma expressed that Khan was so amiable that he never sensed any critique of his acting ability. It seemed to him as if they were just fellow artists instead of Khan being the director. Additionally, Bipin praised Aamir for his extensive knowledge of films, suggesting it might be due to his years spent in this field. He also shared that he never felt intimidated in the presence of the star from Raja Hindustani.
