As a dedicated fan of both KoRn and Adidas, I must say that this latest collaboration is an absolute masterpiece! Growing up in the ’90s, KoRn’s raw energy and unique sound resonated deeply with my rebellious spirit, while Adidas’ iconic styles have always been a staple in my wardrobe. This partnership seamlessly blends both worlds together, creating a collection that is as bold and individualistic as the nu-metal band themselves.
Korn and adidas have teamed up once more, showcasing their third joint collection in celebration of 30 years since the nu-metal band’s debut album release. This collection, characterized by monochrome, deep red, and a hint of purple, embodies the unique aesthetics of both parties. The garments are designed to convey a strong, individualistic allure.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement over this collection that effortlessly blends sporty essentials with a rebellious, grungy edge. From the reversible tracksuit, graphic tees, tartan overshirts, hoodies, knee-high socks, a beanie, and even a tote bag, each piece tells a story. Standout items include the long-sleeve tee, adorned with a captivating large graphic of KoRn’s debut album cover art.
Apart from clothing items, this collection introduces two unique shoe designs: Superstar Korn Shoes and KoRn Adilettes Slides. The first design, Superstar Korn Shoes, comes in a sleek “Core Black” leather upper, accentuated by white laces, a sockliner, and an off-white outsole and shell-toes. The lateral Three-Stripes showcases two distinct patterns: the right shoe displays both KoRN and adidas logos in a repeating pattern, while the left shoe highlights “EST. 1994” in red along with a tonal guitar pick hanging from the eyelet. The Superstar logo is placed at the edge of the quarters on both shoes, creating a mirrored effect.
Take a look at the campaign displayed above. The collection, ranging from $30 to $160 USD, is scheduled to launch on October 31 and can be purchased through adidas, Korn’s official site, and also CONFIRMED.
