She mentioned, “I’d like to acknowledge paparazzi for their creativity. The event was called Umang, a well-known police show. As I attended, I posed for the photographers, who began referring to me as ACP. This is likely due to Ananya Chunky Panday and the fact that it was a police-themed production.
At first, the actress from CTRL believed that the paparazzi had casually coined the term ACP as a joke during the police event. But, she was taken aback when photographers repeatedly used this nickname to address her at various events, and it has since stuck with her.
Actress from The Dream Girl 2 confessed that she requested photojournalists to use alternative names for her. However, they persistently reverted to calling her ACP. Moreover, the show’s host inquired if Panday had attempted to ask them to call her ‘Bae’, alluding to her beloved character from her latest web series titled “Call Me Bae”.
In her reply, Ananya concurred, stating that she had indeed been referred to as “Bae”, but heard it more as “ae”, “bae”, and “chal bae”. So, she decided to revert to being called ACP instead.
