One of the highly anticipated movies in Bollywood, Housefull 5 starring Akshay Kumar, has been shooting extensively in Europe on a cruise ship, and leaked behind-the-scenes photos have left fans eager for its release. Recent updates suggest that the team will begin the final stage of filming, which includes the climax and an extensive song sequence, in Mumbai early next month.

According to a recent article in Mid-day, the Housefull 5 film crew completed a substantial shoot across Europe. In approximately a month, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and other cast members will resume production in Mumbai for the final stage, which includes filming the climax and an extensive musical number.

The report states that, as per a cited source, the team is planning to film the final segment of Tarun Mansukhani’s directorial project at Chitrakoot Grounds.

They’re building the set to mimic parts of a high-end cruise ship, keeping in line with the movie’s storyline. Additionally, elaborate sets are being put up to depict a bungalow interior. The final scenes will be filmed here, featuring the entire cast. Many crowd scenes have also been scheduled for this production phase,” according to the source.

Beyond what’s already been said, the report also notes that Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, who were unable to travel to the UK due to visa rejections, will now be part of the production team during this period. Additionally, it was suggested that the Housefull 5 crew aims to complete the film before the Christmas holiday.

The production team has planned a 24-day filming schedule, complete with musical sequences. However, due to the construction of the sets taking some time, it’s likely that filming won’t start until early December at the earliest. This detail was provided by our source.

The fifth part of the cherished series boasts an impressive roster of actors such as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, and Dino Morea. Moreover, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, and Soundarya Sharma will be playing the key roles in this production.

Under the production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, owned by Sajid Nadiadwala, the upcoming film is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
