At one point in her career, she found herself lacking substantial roles. To address this, she turned to social media and requested opportunities from filmmakers. In an interview with TopMob, she shared that these days, she’s receiving better projects.

She expressed great joy that her contributions were finally being acknowledged. She put it this way: ‘At last, I am grateful to be receiving proper recognition. It’s a relief to be given substantial roles instead of just minor, auxiliary ones. My television work has been commendable, and though it may be overlooked now, I have been part of 150 TV series. Approximately three weeks ago, Shabina Siddiqui, who starred in the movie “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, received her fourth National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. This honor was bestowed upon her for her role in Sooraj Barjatya’s film, Uunchai, an adventure drama. Alongside Siddiqui, the movie features acting legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra, and Sarika.
