Futura and Kenny Scharf Unite With AllRightsReserved to Release a Limited-Edition Sculpture Set

As a seasoned gamer with an eye for art and a heart for nostalgia, I must say this collaboration between Futura and Kenny Scharf is like stepping back into the vibrant New York City graffiti scene of the ’80s. The Untitled sculpture set is a marvelous blend of their distinctive styles that instantly transports me to those iconic exhibits at Tony Shafrazi Gallery.

Modern American artists, Futura and Kenny Scharf, are teaming up to collaborate on a restricted-edition sculpture collection with AllRightsReserved.

The two artists have known each other for a long time. They showcased their work together for the first time at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in New York way back in 1984, marking the beginning of their artistic paths. In their recent collaboration, Futura and Kenny Scharf beautifully demonstrated their creative synergy and visions through a lively and energetic display.

Titled “Untitled,” this collection of stainless steel sculptures features two sets of characters, each riding unique UFOs. Futura’s iconic FL-001 “Pointman” is a passenger on a metallic violet spaceship, seemingly guided by ESPACIO, Kenny Scharf’s eccentric character. The design of the spaceship also embodies a more playful aesthetic, reflecting more of Scharf’s artistic style.

Simultaneously, the UFO resembling silver adopts a more ordinary shape. The Futura FL-003, in sync with the spacecraft’s color, shows he has command over it. By his side, there’s LUCKY, a six-eyed, canine-like robot created by Scharf.

Starting from November 6, 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (or November 7 at 11 a.m. Hong Kong Time), I’ll have the chance to secure one of Futura x Kenny Sharf’s “Untitled” sculptures! This exclusive set will be up for grabs through DDTstore’s website as a limited release. Can’t wait to add this unique piece to my gaming room collection!
