As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing the fantastical realms of BioWare’s masterpieces, I must say that unraveling the mysteries hidden within Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Lighthouse has been an exhilarating journey. The intricate puzzles and rich lore have kept me enthralled, reminding me once again why this franchise stands tall amongst its peers.

In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, The Lighthouse serves as the central location for Rook and his group. Originally, this stronghold within the Fade had been Solas’s, known also by the ominous title of the Dread Wolf, headquarters.

Besides serving as a venue for players to engage with allies and embark on missions, this location additionally hides hidden spots waiting to be uncovered. Here’s a guide on how to reveal each secret area within the Lighthouse:

The Lighthouse is a place of refuge and is rich with intriguing mysteries.

Embarking on an adventure to uncover mysteries concealed within its walls and environs, I found myself reminiscing and earning priceless treasures along the way – a nostalgic journey I’ll always cherish.

To get the best out of your time in the Lighthouse, here’s how to access all the secret areas.

Solve the Statue Puzzle to Unlock the Music Room

After settling into the Lighthouse, you’ll find that the surroundings feature strange statues scattered about.

Not long after beginning your exploration, you’ll spot an enigmatic message affixed to a sculpture hidden in the corner of the Workshop section, close to the courtyard at the rear of the structure.

The tip suggests that by positioning three sets of statues so they all face one another, you can uncover a hidden room containing a secret.

Statues are strategically placed around the Lighthouse Courtyard, and solving the puzzle requires a touch with each one.

Here’s how to locate and solve each pair of statues:

  • First Pair of Statues – Go down to the space below Neve’s quarters. Her room is on one of the lower levels of the Lighthouse, where you will find the first statue. Turn it to face west, then head over to Bellara’s room on the other side of the Lighthouse. You’ll find the second statue behind her quarters, which must be rotated to face east. Once aligned, these two statues will give off a green wisp that floats on over to the main building.
  • Second Pair of Statues – The next pair is near the Dining Hall and Library. Head to the southern part of the Dining Hall to find a statue near the edge of the building. Rotate this statue to face north. The second statue in this pair is close to the outside staircase that goes up to the Library. Rotate each statue so they face each other, and the last of the wisps will be released.
  • Third Pair of Statues – The final pair is located on the upper landing above the entrance to the Library. These statues are easy to spot since they’re located close to one another. Rotate them to face one another. Once you complete this final adjustment, the last set of wisps will float into the building.

Once you’ve properly arranged the trio of statue sets, proceed into the principal Lighthouse structure. The door near the library desk, previously locked and inaccessible, now emanates a soft glow with flickering wisps.

Here’s your pass to enter the freshly opened Music Room. Inside, you’ll find some golden items, a couple of valuable trinkets, and a Codex entry named “Memories of a Duet” placed neatly on the piano.

Explore the Music Room

The Music Room holds more mysteries that can be uncovered later in the game.

On my journey, I stumbled upon a fresh challenge hidden in the Music Room as I advanced through the main tale. This enigma was unveiled post my successful completion of chapter seven in the epic adventure known as “Where the Dead Must Go.

At this point, you’ll notice there are two drifting orbs in the Music Room. One of them lingers close to the piano. Direct it towards one of the vacant pedestals situated next to a locked door.

Leave the Music Room and make your way upward via the staircase to the rooftop. It’s the spot where you previously figured out the first statue riddle, and it’s here that you’ll locate the second spirit orally.

Place the second ornament on the remaining stand in the Music Room, which will trigger the portal opening, allowing you to make your way across to the Library Balcony.

Here, you’ll discover a crystalline piece tinted blue. Activate it, and it will mend your Astrolabe. This action grants you a permanent reduction in costs for enhancements at the Caretaker’s Workshop.

For an extra reward, climb over the balcony railing and jump to the main floor.

In this game, you won’t be punished when you take falls, and for performing a brave jump, you’ll even earn the “Nostalgia Trip” trophy or achievement.

Solve the Final Puzzle To Unlock Solas’ Study (The Wolf’s Den)

However, there’s still much to explore.

As you progress further in the game, you’ll ultimately unlock the shop of the Grey Wardens’ faction. This signals that it’s now time for you to head back to the Lighthouse.

After this event, you’ll be informed about a fresh update in the region. Head back to the Library Balcony, where you’ll encounter another wisp and a stand.

Lead the glowing entity towards the pedestal so it can unlock another exit. This exit whisks you to a platform situated outside the Lighthouse. On this platform, you’ll encounter a laser generator, an elven power source, and numerous energy crystals.

The final puzzle involves using the laser to activate these power crystals. Plug in the battery to power up the laser, then aim it at the crystals on the nearby towers.

Ensure every single one emits a smoky-hued glow. After the laser ignites all the crystals, the misty trails will return to the central structure.

Make your way back to the Library, as a hitherto locked door stands unbarred. Cross the threshold to gain access to Solas’ personal sanctum, the Wolf’s Den.

In this region, you’ll find the ultimate prizes – treasure chests, lore details, and artifacts that help unravel the mysteries surrounding the Lighthouse.
