The “Sakamoto Days” manga first started being published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in November 2020. By the year 2022, a staggering 2.2 million copies were already distributed, propelling it up the charts on the publication’s popularity polls and frequently placing it alongside popular titles such as “One Piece”, “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and “My Hero Academia”.

The promotional video provides a sneak peek into the unusual and energetic storyline of Sakamoto Days, focusing on the daily life of Taro Sakamoto, a former assassin who now manages a convenience store with his family. Additionally, the trailer showcased “Hashire SAKAMOTO,” the anime’s theme song, created and sung by renowned artist Vaundy.
