As a seasoned crypto investor with over two decades of experience under my belt, the recent $40 million seed investment raised by Zero Gravity Labs (0G Labs) is nothing short of intriguing. With a knack for spotting promising projects and a keen eye for innovative technology, I’ve seen my fair share of groundbreaking ventures in this space.
0G Labs (Zero Gravity Labs) has secured a significant $40 million in seed funding from leading venture capitalists, building upon their $35 million pre-seed round earlier this year.
In addition, the 0G Foundation, responsible for overseeing the management of the 0G Protocol, has obtained a pledge for a $250 million liquidity line and token purchase. This raises the total committed capital to an amount of $325 million, as stated in a press release that was shared with crypto.news.
Distinguished investors such as Hack VC, Delphi Digital, OKX Ventures, Samsung Next, Yat Siu from Animoca, Stanford Blockchain Fund, and Coinbureau, alongside several others, participated in the funding rounds.
The 0G Foundation has a flexible funding source worth $250 million, which can be utilized for future projects and ecosystem maintenance. This resource offers direct access to digital assets on various exchanges at Over-the-Counter (OTC) prices.
According to Michael Heinrich, the joint founder and leader of 0G Labs, it’s crucial that we prioritize decentralization when developing artificial intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping every aspect of our existence, yet its creation has been predominantly controlled by a few, leading to worries about openness and control. With dAIOS, we’re constructing an open and distributed AI Operating System that guarantees security, transparency, and accessibility. This funding will help us speed up our goal.

Pioneering decentralized AI with dAIOS
As a decentralized artificial intelligence operating system, known as dAIOS, our goal is to connect the world of web3 with AI technology. Designed for optimal data management, dAIOS will handle vast amounts of data processing without any delays, maintaining fast data transfer speeds and performing real-time AI calculations directly on the blockchain. This scalability enables dAIOS to manage up to 50 GB of data per second, creating a secure and efficient space where large datasets can be effectively processed.
As worries about data privacy, AI monopolies, and security vulnerabilities continue to grow, decentralized AI systems such as dAIOS are gaining more significance.
0G’s method provides a transparent and secure on-chain framework suitable for AI applications. This architecture functions as a real-time inference layer, delivering insights without the necessity of off-chain procedures.
