As a dedicated sneakerhead with roots deeply embedded in the vibrant urban landscapes of Atlanta, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon laying my eyes on the A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low “While You Were Sleeping.” With a rich history of collaborations that have consistently pushed the boundaries of streetwear and style, this latest offering from A Ma Maniére is no exception.
Collaboration: A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low “While You Were Sleeping
For approximately two months now, Atlanta-based retailer A Ma Maniére has been showcasing its six-part “While You Were Sleeping” collection in collaboration with Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse. So far, it has unveiled all three of its Jordan Brand sneakers and just dropped its Air Max 95 collaboration. Currently, the spotlight is on the upcoming Air Force 1 Low, set to be the main event, followed by the release of its Converse Weapon Low towards the end of this year, wrapping up the project.
This detailed preview of A Ma Maniére’s take on the Air Force 1 Low sees it equipped with a pebbled leather upper that hosts a light brown “Sesame” across its base. From there, silver detailing adorns the Swooshes on each side of the shoe as the collection’s signature “Light Mauve” adorns the shoe’s special “A”-branded lining. Prominent “A Ma Maniére” text runs across the lateral midsole in place of the typical “AIR” hit while a translucent outsole and co-branding at the heel and tongue rounds out the look.
The A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low “While You Were Sleeping” launch is scheduled for November 22, priced at $150 USD. This special edition sneaker will only be available through A Ma Maniére’s online store and its brick-and-mortar locations.
