As a seasoned gamer and outdoor enthusiast with a knack for fashionable footwear, I can’t help but express my excitement over the Dime x Merrell 1TRL Moc Speed Streak collaboration. Having traversed various terrains, both virtual and real, I appreciate the fusion of skateboarding aesthetics with functional outdoor footwear. The breathable mesh upper, lightweight EVA foam midsole, and added comfort from the neoprene stretch collar make these shoes a dream for those who love both urban adventures and metropolitan activities.
After unveiling their partnership for the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII collection at Hypefest Hong Kong, the Montreal-based company is launching a fresh, outdoor-suitable design in collaboration with Merrell: the Merrell 1TRL Moc Speed Streak.
This Autumn, Dime and Merrell collaborate again to present two adaptable and practical 1TRL Moc Speed Streaks. Built with a breathable mesh upper and patent leather accents that harmonize with the stretch collar made of neoprene for enhanced comfort. The lightweight EVA foam midsole provides additional stability, cushioning shock with its air pocket. Available in “Black” and “Tan”, this easy-to-wear pair also boasts a heel pull tab and lining made entirely from recycled materials, as well as a neoprene footbed cover consisting of 50% recycled mesh. Additionally, the shoe includes a Cleansport NXT treatment for odor control.
The slip-on style makes it an easy wear fit for outdoor adventures and metropolitan activities. Continuing to elevate the skateboarding aesthetic in unique ways, Dime brings a unique perspective to the Merrell silhouette, creating a contemporary ideology that combines skatewear with functional outdoor footwear.
On November 16, at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, the collaboration between Dime and Merrell, the 1TRL Moc Speed Streak, will be released at Dime’s flagship store and online. From November 23 onwards, it will also be available at selected global Merrell retailers.
