As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in both law enforcement and showbiz, I find myself deeply troubled by the recent events involving Shah Rukh Khan and the death threat he received from Chhattisgarh. Having worked closely with celebrities and security teams, I can confidently say that such threats are never just empty words. They require immediate attention and thorough investigation to ensure the safety of those involved.
After Salman Khan, it was Shah Rukh Khan who faced a death threat in Chhattisgarh. According to reports, the Bandra Police received a call demanding half a million rupees from the actor. In their investigation, the police discovered that Faizan Khan, the suspect they arrested, had carefully gathered information about Shah Rukh Khan’s security detail and also focused on his son Aryan Khan, scrutinizing their activities and routines.
As per a report by Free Press Journal, it appears that the suspect is accused of meticulously collecting information about Shah Rukh Khan’s security arrangements and Aryan’s whereabouts through extensive internet research. This finding emerged during the examination of an extra phone confiscated from the alleged offender.
A Bandra Police official revealed that the accused’s mobile phone contained a detailed browsing history of searches related to the Jawan actor’s security and his son Aryan Khan’s movements. When questioned, the suspect failed to provide a convincing reason for collecting this information.
It was also discovered during the investigation that the suspect obtained the landline number of the Bandra Police Station by using an application, a number he later utilized to make the menacing call. Furthermore, it was found out that the phone used for this threat was bought on October 30, only a few days prior to the call being made.
It turns out that Faizan Khan, who stands accused, personally purchased the device and added his own old SIM card to it. Interestingly, he declared the phone as stolen on November 2nd, but failed to deactivate the SIM card. Normally, in genuine theft cases, the thief would swap out the SIM card from the stolen device. However, this didn’t happen in this instance. Furthermore, Khan did not try to find his lost phone by dialing its number after reporting it missing, which adds to the growing suspicion.
According to the report, it seems the suspect made intentional attempts to conceal the phone used in the alleged crime. Furthermore, the evidence suggests that the action was thoughtfully prepared in advance.
On November 7, 2024, SRK received a death threat, which was reported to the Bandra Police Station. The call was traced back to Faizan Khan’s phone, leading to his arrest by Mumbai police in Raipur. A transit remand was secured for further investigation.
In court, Faizan Khan’s legal team argued that his phone was taken prior to the incident, implying that the call used in evidence against him was actually part of a larger plan to wrongly accuse him.
In terms of professional endeavors, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming action-thriller movie titled “King.” Remarkably, his daughter Suhana Khan will also be part of this production. The esteemed director Sujoy Ghosh will helm the project. Apart from Shah Rukh and Suhana, Abhishek Bachchan and the well-known actor Abhay Verma (from “Munjya”) are set to play significant roles in this film.
