Poring Rush, the casual battling spin-off from hit MMORPG Ragnarok Online, is out now

  • Poring Rush, a spin-off of developer Gravity’s hit MMORPG Ragnarok Online, is out now
  • Combine different varieties of these iconic monsters for new unique abilities
  • Play match3 minigames and more to grab rewards

As a dedicated fan who’s spent countless hours exploring the mystical world of Ragnarok Online, I can confidently say that Poring Rush is a dream come true! After years of battling fearsome beasts and treacherous terrains, it’s heartwarming to see those adorable Porings finally take center stage.

Enthusiasts of Ragnarok Online now have a fresh method to experience their beloved series on-the-go. This isn’t a brand-new installment in the main series, but it promises to be equally enjoyable, as you can now team up with those charming Porings in the new adventure game titled Poring Rush, which is being launched today!

In Poring Rush, you’ll find yourself engaging in tough fights against progressively harder enemies, with the helpful Porings by your side. As you advance, you’ll collect stronger armor, weapons, and items, enhance your collection of Porings, and snag additional loot from puzzle-style minigames and other sources. To mark its release, a seven-day mission event is planned!

For those unaware, the Porings are a distinctive type of common foes in Ragnarok Online, much like slimes in Dragon Quest. Initially considered mere filler enemies, they have since become almost emblematic of the game, to the point where they’re often seen as the series’ mascots. They’ve even starred in their own spin-offs, such as the match-3 game, Angel Poring.

Onwards, my porings

It seems that just about every fantasy series has its signature character mascot. For instance, Dragon Quest boasts Slimes, while Dungeons & Dragons might feature gelatinous cubes (or alternatively, kobolds), and for Dark Souls, I’m not quite sure, but perhaps something resembling Hagar the Horrible?

Regardless, if you’re a die-hard Ragnarok Online enthusiast seeking mobile combat and puzzle gameplay to pass the time, this could be the long-awaited launch that tickles your fancy. On the other hand, for those who are less devoted fans or seek a more immersive RPG adventure, it might lean towards lighter entertainment.

Nevertheless, should you be seeking alternative choices, you won’t have to search extensively. Perhaps you might find it intriguing to explore the newest addition to our recurring segment showcasing the top five must-play mobile games for the current week. These freshly launched titles are certainly worth a look!
