Angelina Jolie Says “Nothing Else Matters” Except for Motherhood

As a gamer who has witnessed the dynamic evolution of Hollywood through various gaming narratives, I find Angelina Jolie‘s dedication to motherhood truly inspiring. Her life experiences are not just portrayed on screen but seem to have shaped her real-life decisions significantly.

Angelina Jolie opened up about motherhood and how it’s the most important thing to her.

The actress recently paid a visit to ‘Good Morning America’ to chat about her upcoming movie titled ‘Maria’. During her conversation with Michael Strahan, she revealed that singing was the main focus for Maria Calles, the opera singer character she plays in the biopic. However, she emphasized that being a mother holds the most importance in her own life.

I’ve found something truly precious,” I shared with Strahan. “Even if I were to lose everything else, this joy remains irreplaceable. It’s what truly matters to me.

As a gamer, I’m fortunate to be a dad to six amazing kids: Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and the adorable twins Knox and Vivienne, who just turned 16. It’s quite a handful, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

The oldest two of her kids were involved in the assistant directing for the production of “Maria“, which she described as an “extraordinary” experience, despite the fact that none of them are interested in being in front of the camera currently. They’re quite private individuals, with Shiloh being particularly so, she mentioned. “They weren’t born with a public life, after all,” she added, expressing hope that they can maintain their privacy as they mature and develop.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter accompanying the biopic of the singer directed by Pablo Larraín, the star of Eternals expressed her belief that it benefited both parties. Pax, who typically works on stills, would often be called in, and Pablo Larraín was astute enough to recognize and appreciate his abilities.

Maria took on Jolie’s initial assignment in some time as she “had to spend more time at home with my children,” however, now that her kids are growing up and becoming more self-reliant, she felt less essential, thus enabling her to be absent for stretches to focus on work.

Now, they’re mature enough to accompany me at my workplace. It feels like we’ve entered a fresh chapter in our lives. I can’t wait to see them growing and discovering themselves even more each day,” she continued.

This notable figure, often referred to as “Maleficent,” mentioned that motherhood comes first for her, and this perspective influences her delicate balance between artistic expression and vocalizing political viewpoints.

She expressed that she’s made an effort to gain a deeper understanding of global affairs. When people say, ‘You act as an artist,’ she feels it’s simply being human. She’s curious about the world, why things are the way they are, and strives to be a positive influence on her children. However, she often questions if she’s doing enough. So, when you mention that she uses her voice, she admits there are many situations where she feels unsure about what to say or do right now.
