During a friendly getaway in the Maldives, the Mumbai and Delhi women were enjoying drinks and conversation when suddenly, Kothari lost her temper with Passi, who was uncontrollably laughing during a serious discussion. In a recent interview, Kothari explained that she became frustrated by Passi’s laughter because it disrupted the group’s efforts to have a meaningful conversation.
In a chat with Filmygya, Neelam Kothari was asked why she snapped at Shalini Passi during the drinking session, Neelam explained, “Because a lot of what you see hasn’t been shown. We all were having fun, but we were also sitting there, and for a very long time, she was just laughing and laughing.”
As an ardent admirer, I must admit that during that moment, my enthusiasm for the experience was slightly overshadowed by a desire to bring the eventful affair to a close. In my eagerness to depart, I may have unintentionally expressed some frustration towards the individual, resulting in a sharp response.
The star of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives commented, “We were all trying to talk, but no one could get a word in because she was laughing so hard. I grew impatient, and I reacted. I’m only human, and it wasn’t intended as a mean act. If someone is becoming frustrated, I tend to lose my temper – whether it’s my friends, my child, or anyone else.
In a different episode, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni unintentionally poured wine on Shalini Passi during a dinner sequence, which stirred conversations among viewers. Some noticed that Riddhima didn’t express remorse or apologies immediately afterwards. However, in an interview with Zoom, Riddhima clarified that her apology was sincere and private, stating that there is no lingering tension between her and Shalini.
In the most recent installment of the Netflix reality series, Shalini, Riddhima, and Kalyani Chawla were presented as the representatives from Delhi, offering a fresh perspective compared to the initial Mumbai crew consisting of Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh. The addition of the Delhi wives added an intriguing twist to the show, enriching it with new dramatic scenes and engaging moments.
