The Entire ‘Twilight Saga’ is Streaming on Hulu from December 1

As a child of the late ’90s and early ’00s, I vividly remember the frenzy that surrounded The Twilight Saga. The anticipation, the excitement, the long lines at the cinemas – it was an experience that defined my teenage years. I was part of Team Edward, but I must admit, Jacob had his moments too!

Fans of Team Edward and Team Jacob can look forward to returning to Forks on Hulu soon. Prepare to be enchanted once more by Stephanie Meyer’s captivating vampires and formidable werewolf companions as all five movies from The Twilight Saga will become available on Hulu starting December 1st. Stephanie Meyer’s first novel, Twilight (2005), found remarkable success three years later when Catherine Hardwicke’s film adaptation premiered in theaters in November 2008, despite some criticism from movie critics (with a 48% score on Rotten Tomatoes). However, this didn’t deter fans who were eager to support the young adult vampire film.

Due to their unwavering passion, the Twilight series transformed into an undeniable cultural sensation and grossed $408.5 million worldwide with a production budget of merely $37 million (according to Box Office Mojo). Notably, none of the films in The Twilight Saga individually surpassed the billion-dollar global threshold. However, each installment sparked a frenzy that led to long lines of fans queuing outside theaters, eager to watch the vampire movies. This was during a period, particularly when the initial three films were released, where purchasing movie tickets online either wasn’t available or was still in its early stages in the United States.

Building on the success of the initial movie, each subsequent sequel raked in impressive earnings at the box office: The Twilight Saga: New Moon ($711 million), Eclipse ($698.5 million), Breaking Dawn – Part 1 ($712.2 million), and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 ($848.6 million). If you’re keen on revisiting the young adult vampire tales or catching up for the first time, now is an ideal moment to subscribe to Hulu, thanks to their fantastic Black Friday deal on streaming services.

Watch ‘The Twilight Saga’ on the Cheap Thanks to Hulu’s Black Friday Sale

In my humble opinion, out of all the films in “The Twilight Saga”, it’s the original “Twilight” that stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to our rankings here at MovieWeb. Now, I must admit, when the 2005 film first graced the silver screen, it didn’t quite strike a chord with audiences, as its “C+” CinemaScore suggests. However, it seems that the sequels, particularly “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn – Part 2”, are the ones that truly resonated with fans, earning them “A” grades on CS.

For those new to the realm of Stephanie Meyer’s sparkly vampires and eternal love, they have the opportunity to form their own opinions by utilizing Hulu’s Black Friday deal (as stated by Hulu). New subscribers can join the streaming service at an exclusive price of just $2.99, which encompasses a full year subscription to both Hulu (at 99 cents) and Disney+ ($2.00). Additionally, Hulu is offering the Starz channel as a premium add-on for only 99 cents. However, be prompt, because Hulu’s Black Friday offer concludes at 11:59 p.m. PST on Dec. 2.

Revisiting “The Twilight Saga” or catching it for the first time remains an exciting way to get ready for Netflix’s forthcoming show, “Midnight Sun.” This upcoming series is based on Stephenie Meyer’s 2020 novel of the same name and promises to retell the story from the film version of “Twilight,” but this time focusing on Edward Cullen, the vampire character, instead of Bella Swan, his future bride-to-be.

As of now, Netflix hasn’t announced a release date for Midnight Sun. But don’t worry, fans! You can catch the romantic tale between Edward (played by Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart), which leaves Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) less than thrilled, in all five films of the YA vampire series on Hulu starting December 1st.
