Vancouver-based retailer HAVEN, known for outdoor and lifestyle products, is raising the bar with upcoming collaborations. Their next partnership is with Japanese brand Nanga. This collaboration introduces a two-piece outerwear collection inspired by Nanga’s fundamental outdoor items tailored for today’s modern explorer.
In this joint project, we find Chiharu and Kooichi from Kyushi Island, Japan, who lead a life immersed in the island’s tranquil beauty. Unlike bustling Japanese metropolises, the pace here is more leisurely. They have chosen to live self-sufficiently, restoring an old Japanese farmhouse while spending their days cultivating rice, gathering wild plants, and nurturing relationships within their local community. Their inaugural collaboration highlights a lifestyle that harmoniously coexists with nature through versatility and purpose.
