Lindsay Lohan Hyped Up Chad Michael Murray’s Jake While Teasing Freaky Friday 2, And I’m Just Getting More Excited

As someone who grew up with the magic of the original Freaky Friday film and spent countless hours rewinding the VHS tape to watch Chad Michael Murray’s charming portrayal of Jake, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming sequel, Freakier Friday. The prospect of seeing Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, and the rest of the original cast reunite is already a dream come true, but hearing that Jake will return to the big screen on a motorcycle has me practically jumping for joy!

In the upcoming movie schedule for 2025, fans who grew up in the early 2000s are eagerly marking certain dates, particularly the release of “Freakier Friday,” the sequel to “Freaky Friday.” Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan once again as their body-swapped characters, this movie is set to hit theaters next summer. The original cast, including Chad Michael Murray reprising his role as Jake, will also be returning. As we anticipate its release, Lohan has shared exciting hints about Murray’s comeback.

You might remember that Lindsay Lohan portrayed a rebellious teen named Anna who had feelings for Murray’s character, Jake, the bad boy. However, an unusual event occurred when Anna and her mother underwent a body swap due to some enchantment at a Chinese restaurant. This led to Jake falling for Anna in the form of her mother. It’s quite amusing, but eventually (pun intended), they both returned to their original bodies, allowing Anna to be with Jake while still being herself.

In this film, Chad makes a thrilling entrance on his motorcycle, much like Jake does in ‘Freaky Friday’. It’s an incredibly enjoyable movie that promises plenty of laughs. Beyond the humor, there are several heartwarming stories woven into it as well. I can hardly wait to share this delightful experience with everyone!

I’m really intrigued by what Lohan has said about the movie, it makes me wonder what the storyline will be like and what hilarious scenarios the sequel might present.

As a die-hard fan, I’m absolutely thrilled about the developments between Anna and Jake in the upcoming film. It’s been twenty years since we last saw them, and as Manny Jacinto steps into the role of Anna’s husband, I can’t help but ponder their journey since high school. What secrets lay hidden in their past following the events of the first movie? And how will Jake re-enter her life once more? Additionally, I find myself curious about the duration of their relationship and the factors that ultimately led to its demise.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but get pumped up when I learned that Jake, portrayed by Chad Michael Murray in Freaky Friday, is pivotal to the storyline. On top of that, it was music to my ears when Lindsay Lohan announced the reunion of Anna’s high school band Pink Slip! It feels amazing to hear Lohan expressing her enthusiasm for the long-awaited sequel I’ve been yearning for, and it seems like they’re planning something side-splittingly funny for Chad Michael Murray’s character, Jake.

Lohan hinted about the upcoming sequel, as Chad Michael Murray and she are both slated to appear in Christmas movies for Netflix in 2024. In “The Merry Gentleman,” Murray will be seen without a shirt for a heartwarming holiday reason, while Lohan’s character in “Our Little Secret” finds herself unexpectedly spending Christmas with an ex. Fans can watch both films now if they have a Netflix subscription, before “Freakier Friday” hits theaters on August 8.
