DWF Labs co-founder announces move to Abu Dhabi

As a seasoned crypto investor with roots in both Asia and the West, this news about DWF Labs moving its headquarters to Abu Dhabi strikes me as a smart move. The United Arab Emirates has been a beacon for crypto innovation, much like how Singapore was a few years back. It’s always exciting to see companies expanding their operations into new territories, especially when it means more opportunities for growth and collaboration in the web3 and cryptocurrency sectors.

As reported by one of its co-founders, DWF Labs, a firm specializing in cryptocurrency venture capital, is relocating its primary headquarters to Abu Dhabi as an initiative to solidify a substantial presence within the Middle East region.

Andrei Grachev, a co-founder at DWF Labs, shared via a post on X that the crypto investment company is planning to transfer its main office from Singapore to Abu Dhabi. This decision stems from their ambition to broaden the firm’s activities, with a focus on the Middle East, particularly in the sectors of finance and tangible assets.

As a crypto investor, I’m excited to share that I’ve decided to establish a robust footing in the Middle East by relocating our headquarters to Abu Dhabi. This move will enable us to expand our RWA and financial services offerings in this region, as stated in my recent post on Dec 2.

While Grachev didn’t specify the exact date for the move or the reopening of the headquarters in Abu Dhabi, he suggested that there would be more updates to come before the relocation day. The upcoming headquarters in Abu Dhabi will mark the second office for DWF Labs in the Middle East, as they currently have an existing office located in Dubai.

To establish a robust footing in the Middle East and expand our operations for Real World Assets (RWA) and financial services, DWFLabs is relocating its main office to Abu Dhabi. Keep an eye out for further updates! Stay connected.

2021 has seen the United Arab Emirates recognized as a prominent cryptocurrency center and a magnet for financial markets. Notably, this year, businesses such as BlackRock, QCP Capital, and others have broadened their operations within this region.

In September, DWF Labs collaborated with meme coin launchpad GraFun to improve token liquidity for projects launched via GraFun, an platform functioning on the Binance Smart Chain. This partnership aims to provide a more steady and transparent marketplace for trading meme coins.

DWF Labs has earned recognition by partnering strategically with renowned Australian figure, Iggy Azalea, following her debut of the meme coin MOTHER on the Solana blockchain platform.

As a crypto enthusiast, I recently came across DWF Labs, a venture capital firm that made its debut in 2022, headquartered in the vibrant city of Singapore. Interestingly, they also have an office in Dubai, with additional operations in Switzerland, the British Virgin Islands, South Korea, and Hong Kong. This globally-connected firm has a strong focus on investing in companies that are actively involved within the web3 and crypto sphere.
