Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: How To Solve the Elephant in the Room Puzzle

As someone who’s spent countless hours navigating through the labyrinthine world of video games, I must say that solving the Elephant in the Room puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was an exhilarating adventure! The hidden mechanisms, the intricate layout, and the tantalizing backstory of the rebels and the Sukhothai Relics made this challenge a truly immersive experience.

In the movie Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the “Elephant in the Room” conundrum can be a bit challenging, as it requires thinking outside the box to uncover secret mechanisms and applying them creatively.

Should you require assistance or wish to grasp every aspect, this guide will systematically lead you through each stage as you take on this renowned task.

How To Solve the Elephant in the Room Puzzle

To find this puzzle, go to the far corner of Voss’ Camp, where the Royal Army Disguise is found.

Look for a stairway concealed behind a sizable, green canopy. Two guards are stationed nearby, but they’ll only confront you if your identity is revealed.

Advance beyond those structures, and you’ll come across a Buddha figure situated in the heart of the ancient remains. Take a photo of this statue to initiate the riddle.

Once you complete this, your first goal is to locate and set up three hidden elephant figurines.

Find and position three elephant statues accurately beneath the Buddha sculpture.

Every time you place one, it unlocks new spots and routes.

First Statuette

Initially, focus on the left part of the room. After that, carefully create a hole in the false wall using your lighter. Once done, inspect what’s hidden behind this wall, and you’ll find the initial elephant statue there.

Position the figurine into the opening located on the farthest right side beneath the Buddha statue. Doing so should activate the right-hand door, revealing an internal pedestal where it can be placed.

Second Statuette

Following that, I’d reach for the second figurine from the compartment on the right-hand wall. I’d then place it on the stand that I previously uncovered.

Doing this will unlock the leftmost slot under the Buddhist statue and move on to the next area.

As an enthusiast, I’d suggest moving the statuette located on the far right and placing it beneath the Buddhist statue, specifically in the leftmost available spot.

The left-side passageway, concealed within the room, reveals hints and artifacts related to the mystery it holds.

Upon entering, you’ll find a Rebel Journal lying on the floor. This journal details the manner in which the rebels had control over the ruins prior to the General and his troops arriving.

Continue your journey to uncover a map leading to the ancient Sukhothai Relics, where you can learn more about their history. At the conclusion of this pathway, you will encounter a damaged set of steps.

Reach the highest spot you can, then search for a place to attach your whip. Once found, use your whip to secure it and swing to the next platform.

This is where the third elephant statuette is, the one that helps solve the puzzle.

After gathering all three figurines, make your way back to the central chamber. Then, arrange them appropriately as follows:

  • Put the third statuette in the slot on the far right under the Buddha statue. This action reveals the second statuette on the pedestal to the right side of the room.
  • Take the second statuette and place it on the pedestal in the hidden passage on the left.
  • You can trigger another mechanism by dropping the third statuette from the far-right slot in the middle under the Buddhist statue.
  • Retrieve the second statuette from the left passageway and place it back into the rightmost slot under the Buddhist statue.

The secret passage will open when you put all three statuettes in the right spots.

Venture into the freshly opened room on your right to discover an elephant’s skeletal remains. Take a photo of the skeleton to solve the riddle.

Before you leave, check the room thoroughly for additional tools that could help you fight off adversaries outside the ruins, like a shotgun or explosives such as dynamite.

What do you think of the backstory with the rebels and the Sukhothai Relics?
