As a seasoned gamer of the hip-hop scene, having traversed through the beats and rhymes since the golden days of Shake Joint and The Warm Up mixtapes, I can’t help but feel that J. Cole’s long-awaited album, The Fall Off, is finally within our grasp. Having witnessed the evolution of his artistry from a young dreamer to a seasoned storyteller, I can only imagine the masterpiece he has been crafting for years now.
J. Cole’s highly-anticipated The Fall Off could be releasing within the first quarter of 2025.
At the end of his 10th anniversary concert for “2014 Forest Hills Drive” at Madison Square Garden in 2024, Cole subtly indicated to the audience that a new album could be released by the time he hosts Dreamville Fest again in April 2025. Addressing the crowd, he said, “I’ll see you all at Dreamville Fest.” He added, “I hope I’ll have something fresh for you to enjoy back then.
So far, nothing definite about The Fall Off has been disclosed. This leaves fans eagerly anticipating an official announcement, as we’ve been hearing about this project for quite some time now and even got a couple of preview singles (one of which eventually became part of The Off-Season).
Stay tuned for an official announcement.
