- Bendy and the Ink Machine is returning to mobile with Bendy: Lone Wolf
- It takes the format set by Boris and the Dark Survival and seemingly expands on it

As someone who was captivated by the macabre charm of Bendy and the Ink Machine back in the mid-2010s, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming release of Bendy: Lone Wolf! The original game was a refreshing blend of horror, humor, and intrigue that left an indelible mark on the gaming community.
Back in the mid-2010s, you might recall the unusual surge in popularity of survival horror game Bendy and the Ink Machine. Its unique blend of episodic structure, rubber hose-themed adversaries and settings, and an intriguing narrative made it a real hit. Now, this classic game is coming back, even on mobile devices!
Debut Trailer for Lone Wolf Unveiled (link provided), offering a glimpse into numerous gameplay scenes in a top-down, isometric perspective. The game appears to let you take on the role of Boris the Wolf, one of the numerous animated characters from the Ink Machine, as he navigates through the perils of Joey Drew Studios, attempting survival.
The classic game Bendy and the Ink Machine can be played on mobile devices, along with spin-offs such as Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival. It appears that Lone Wolf borrows many elements from these games, but it’s uncertain whether Lone Wolf is a definitive version of Dark Survival or an entirely new interpretation.
Inked off
Regardless of the situation, Bendy and the Ink Machine has consistently been a highly sought-after series since its initial launch, maintaining its popularity throughout the years. Often compared to Five Nights at Freddy’s as one of the pioneering franchises in the mascot horror genre.
The quality of Bendy: Lone Wolf, in my opinion, may vary based on its final form. This isn’t the initial exploration of the Bendy series into isometric survival horror featuring the main character, the wolf. Since it’s also planned for Steam and Switch, I speculate that it will apply the lessons from the first mobile release to create something even more frightening.
Hey there fellow gamers! Ever pondering if Bendy and the Ink Machine is worth giving a spin? Let’s see what our gaming community, the App Army, had to say about it, shall we?
