In the realm of gaming, I just got word that my favorite fashion brand, Balenciaga, has fired up its official flagship store once more in Beijing, nestled within the Taikoo Li Sanlitun complex. This freshly revamped space is a marvel to behold, standing tall as the brand’s largest ever, spanning across four stories and a whopping 1,204 square meters!
Stepping into a testament of my brand’s global ambitions, I proudly present our largest store globally, a marvel in the heart of China. This store isn’t just a retail space; it’s an art gallery of sorts, showcasing eight iconic looks from my ‘The Subtleties of a Dialogue’ collection, which graced the runway at our Kering headquarters in Paris last September.
Upstairs, our premier area boasts a personal shopping room, mirroring Balenciaga’s Couture Store in Paris. This reflects the affinity of our brand’s founder Cristóbal Balenciaga and creative director Demna towards intricate architectural designs. The minimalist aesthetic aligns with the garments’ bold lines and exaggerated forms. An exhibit showcases archival couture dresses designed by both designers from the house. Additionally, there’s an exclusive sale of large “Metalheads” t-shirts for our flagship store. To celebrate the opening, we will unveil six unique product launches, making it our largest retail space yet.
