How to add friends in Monopoly Go

In Monopoly Go, you have several ways to invite friends: via Facebook, direct code, an invitation link, or by accessing your contacts. Simply navigate to the “Friends” section on the bottom-right corner of the main menu, where all these options will be presented for your convenience.

  • Facebook: Click on the Facebook icon on the Friends menu. This will link your account with Facebook, and you can then add anyone from your Facebook friends who plays the game directly.
  • Contacts: This is the same as Facebook above. The only difference is that it will be through the number saved in your phone instead of Facebook. 
  • Code: Your code and a search icon are at the top of the Friends menu. Ask your friends for their code and search for it by clicking on the search icon to add them, or share your code with your friends and tell them to add you.
  • Invite Link: An invite button will be at the bottom. Click on it, and it will generate a link alongside a generic message: “Play Monopoly Go with me.” If anybody clicks on the link, you’ll become friends instantly.

How to delete friends in Monopoly Go

If you can no longer bear someone in Monopoly Go and want to sever ties, follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the Friends tab in the main menu.
  2. Head to the Leaderboard section.
  3. Tap on the player you want to unfriend.
  4. Then click the three dots in their Tycoon Card (next to the number of days you have been friends together).
  5. Click on the Remove button, and then confirm deletion.

Can you block someone in Monopoly Go?

In Monopoly Go, unfortunately, it isn’t possible for you to block another player directly. However, if a player is causing trouble or harassing you, I recommend reaching out to customer service who can intervene and potentially restrict that user’s access.

  2. Head to settings.
  3. Select the “Customer Service” option.
