However, the anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s successful manga, DanDaDan, might have been the most eagerly awaited at the start of the season. Blending elements of romance, comedy, and sci-fi adventure, “DanDaDan” revolves around Ken Takakura (Okarun) and Momo Ayase, two high school students who, despite their stark differences in personality, are unexpectedly bound together by supernatural events.

However, fans won’t have to wait long for more as the season seems set to conclude before adapting the “Evil Eye” arc of the manga, but rest assured, there’s another installment on the way soon!
As a movie critic, I eagerly anticipate the revelation of the next otherworldly antagonist, the ominous Evil Eye, set to grace our screens in the upcoming season. Keen observers of the manga will spot additional enigmatic figures in the teaser visual, offering tantalizing glimpses into the extraordinary journeys that await our vibrant band of characters. Given the manga’s expansive narrative, spanning over 170 chapters at this moment, it’s plausible that this series could span numerous seasons, potentially unfurling the entire tale.
‘DanDaDan’ is the Future of Shōnen Anime
As popular manga series such as “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “My Hero Academia” wrap up their storylines this year, it won’t be long before their anime adaptations catch up with the original manga content and conclude too.
