As a seasoned researcher with a knack for deciphering the crypto market trends, I find myself intrigued by Binance Alpha’s latest move – introducing another batch of pre-listed tokens. The mix of Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH) and BNB (BNB)-based tokens seems to be a strategic choice, considering the current market dynamics.
On its latest update, Binance Alpha – Binance’s innovative platform for pre-listing tokens – has just revealed the fourth group of tokens joining their selection pool. This collection encompasses tokens such as KOGE, BANANA, GNON, LUCE, among others.
In the fourth group of tokens made available for listing in advance on Binance Alpha, you’ll find a variety of tokens associated with Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH) and BNB (BNB). This batch consists of nine carefully selected tokens, criteria for which included strong community engagement, momentum, and current popularity.
As a researcher, I’m sharing an update about the latest development: On December 20th, Binance Alpha disclosed the tokens included in batch number four. These tokens are Banana, Koge, Bob, Magic Power, pStake, Numogram, Shoggoth, Luce, and Odos.
Binance communicated that while inclusion in Alpha’s selection pool doesn’t automatically mean a token will be officially listed on their exchange, there’s still a possibility that these tokens might be reviewed and potentially listed on the Binance Exchange at some point in the future.
It seems that the announcement of tokens chosen for Binance Alpha’s selection pool does not significantly impact the value of those tokens, unlike when they are listed officially on Binance, which often triggers an immediate increase in their worth.
Based on information from CoinGecko, the BOB token experienced a 23.2% drop over the last 24 hours of trading. Meanwhile, BANANA and PSTAKE saw significant declines of 14.4% and 7%, respectively. In contrast, LUCE, MGP, and KOGE all decreased by approximately 0-1% during that same period.
It appears that only a few tokens are thriving at the moment: ODOS has experienced a significant increase of 18.7% over the last day, while GNON has risen by 10.8%, and SHOGGOTH has shown a small rise of 3%.
Recently, Binance Alpha disclosed the third series of tokens on December 19th, with FROG, MONKY, TERMINUS, CLANKER, GRIFFAIN, and CGPT as part of this group, along with some other tokens.
Previously, it was mentioned by crypto.news that Binance Alpha is a component of the broader Binance Wallet and functions as a pool for choosing upcoming cryptocurrency projects within their ecosystem. This new platform grants users the opportunity to investigate selected projects that might potentially get listed on the Binance exchange.
