As a movie buff who’s seen more holiday blockbusters than I can count, this Kim Kardashian-Tracy Romulus friendship saga feels like a heartwarming sequel to “It’s a Wonderful Life”! The lavish gift-giving and emotional reactions are as grand as any Tinseltown production.

As a movie buff who can’t resist the glitz and glamour of reality TV, it’s no secret that the Kardashian clan pulls out all the stops for Christmas. Yet, even beyond the holiday season, they embody the spirit of generosity. Recently, in honor of her friend and SKIMS partner Tracy Romulus’ birthday, Kim Kardashian went above and beyond by gifting her a brand-new Cybertruck – valued at an astonishing $100,000!

To celebrate Tracy Romulus and her birthday, Kardashian went the lavish route and got her a new car. So, to show her thanks and gratitude her SKIMS colleague took to her Instagram stories to post the videos of her reacting to the gift, which Kim then reposted. In the trio of posts about the moment, it started with this blurry photo of the Cybertruck and a sweet message from Romulus, that read:

In summary, Romulus is a close friend and business associate of the Kardashians, specifically Kim. As per her LinkedIn profile, Kim holds the position of Executive Vice President, Communications at SKIMS, and she’s also the Chief Brand Officer for KKW Brands. Over the years, they’ve collaborated on various projects, and based on these videos, it’s evident that their bond is strong, both in a professional and personal capacity.

It’s understandable that this post left Romulus in a state of astonishment and dismay, while Kardashian appeared delighted beyond measure. In the video, you can catch Romulus expressing her surprise in different ways, suggesting to her colleague that she had “clearly snapped” due to this incident, and it’s quite endearing.

As a devoted movie fan, I’d rephrase that as: “In response, I made a few light-hearted jokes about borrowing Romulus’ wheels for the evening, mixed with some heartfelt ‘Happy Birthday’ wishes.

In the second video, it seems like a natural progression from the first, as Kardashian walks towards the car while her companion remains stunned. Repeatedly, Romulus questioned if she was acting irrationally, to which the SKIMS founder simply replied “happy birthday” and expressed her love.

To put it simply, watching this fantastic video is like unwrapping the ultimate present on my birthday or Christmas! Now, I can’t help but dream about joining the SKIMS team.

Currently, a Cybertruck might appear as an extravagant present (given its nature), but among the Kardashians, such lavish gestures are not unusual. For instance, Kylie and Kim have been known to deck out their Christmas trees in grand fashion, while last year Kim even wrapped her holiday gifts in SKIMS apparel. Clearly, they don’t shy away from splurging on special occasions like birthdays and holidays.

Moreover, SKIMS has experienced an exceptional year marked by numerous high-profile celebrities, their products being featured in Olympic kits, as well as opulent photoshoots featuring everything from human models to polar bears.
