Season two of HBO’s The Last of Us series adaptation has received a release window.
Neil Druckmann, who is involved as co-creator, writer, and executive producer, shared at Sony’s press event during the Consumer Electronics Show this year that season two will debut in April. This is approximately two years following the airing of the initial season. HBO has hinted that the forthcoming season will unfold five years after the events of the first season, depicting Joel and Ellie dealing with conflicts within their relationship and a world that has grown increasingly perilous and unstable.
In the upcoming season, we have returning cast members Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Rutina Wesley as Maria. New additions to the show include Kaitlyn Dever playing Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, and Catherine O’Hara will appear in a guest role.
Watch the teaser above and stay tuned for an exact release date.
