In 2023, Oris unveiled a vibrant lime-green Propilot X watch adorned with Kermit the Frog. Now, approximately two years later, the Swiss watchmaker has introduced another timepiece featuring a character from The Muppets – none other than Miss Piggy, Kermit’s significant other.
This watch comes housed in a 34mm multi-part stainless steel case and features a vibrant hot pink dial with matching hour markers. At the 12 o’clock position, there is a single baguette diamond, which lends an elegant touch that mirrors the steel hands.
The timepiece is equipped with an automaton mechanism crafted in Switzerland, and a whimsical touch is found on its gleaming case rear. Through a tiny window, you’ll find a snapshot of Miss Piggy on the lilac-tinted rotor, intermittently appearing and vanishing as it spins.
Rolf Studer, one of the Co-CEOs at Oris, expressed great enthusiasm about teaming up with Miss Piggy, saying, “We designed this watch for self-assured, trendy, and extraordinary people, and we can’t imagine a more suitable partner than you, a globally recognized figure, to headline our project.” This partnership underscores Oris’ dedication to crafting entertaining and impactful timepieces, honoring grand aspirations and amusement.
The “ProPilot X Miss Piggy” edition watch retails for approximately 2,800 Swiss Francs, or around $3,095 USD, and can be purchased through the brand Oris.
