Approximately a month following the unveiling of a sneak peek during CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, Alan Ritchson and Amazon Prime Video premiered the complete trailer for “Reacher” season 3 this morning.
Ritchson initially announced it across his social platforms, such as Instagram where he wrote, “Trouble seems to seek him out.” The new season of episodes is set to premiere on the streaming platform on February 20th. Starting from this day, a total of eight episodes will be released weekly, with the first three airing simultaneously followed by subsequent episodes each Thursday up until March 27th. This season will be available in over 240 countries and territories around the globe.

First, Ritchson unveiled it across his social media, including Instagram where he penned, “Trouble always seems to find him.” The new season of episodes is going live on a streaming platform on February 20th. From this date, eight episodes will be broadcast weekly; the first three will air together followed by additional episodes every Thursday until March 27th. This season will stream in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
In the third season, inspired by Lee Child’s novel “Persuader”, Jack Reacher is drawn into a dangerous criminal operation to save an endangered DEA informant. As he delves deeper, he encounters a hidden world of mystery and brutality, all while dealing with some lingering matters from his own past.
Similar to a prelude, the trailer focuses on Ritchson portraying the character of Reacher in his typical style, showcasing his impressive physique. The narrative revolves around Ritchson joining forces with others for an investigation into the proprietor of a peculiar rug store named Bizarre Bazaar. Reacher delves headlong into an undercover mission within this operation, but the risks are significant as he’s depicted evading gunfire, explosions, and no lack of adversaries.
He inquires about the level of risk involved with this job, as the background music swells with the lyrics, ‘Trouble doesn’t get any bigger,’ from Kansas’s song ‘Carry on My Wayward Son.’ It appears that he has encountered a significant adversary this season, a man known as Paulie or Paul Masserella, who serves as a gate guard at an exclusive waterfront property.
Ritchson and Maria Sten, once again portraying Frances Neagley, are joined by fresh faces like Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters in the cast of Reacher. This production comes from Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. The Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora is the executive producer and showrunner of this series. Amazon previously announced that due to its high action content, the series had already been renewed for a fourth season which will commence filming in 2025.
In addition to Santora, Ritchson, and Child, as well as executives Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell, are responsible for producing the show. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid supervise the series for Skydance Television.
