When it comes to discussing outstanding video game adaptations, I can’t think of a more fitting choice than “The Last of Us.” This television series is based on the same-named video game franchise and chronicles the journey of Joel Miller, a survivor in a post-zombie outbreak world. His mission: escorting a teenage girl across America, as she may hold the key to saving humanity.

The Queen’s Gambit (2020)

I’ve included just one mini-series in this lineup, but let me assure you that “The Queen’s Gambit” is an exceptional choice to explore. Adapted from the novel of the same title, the series tells the captivating story of Beth Harmon, a young woman navigating her way through fame as a chess prodigy in the 1950s and 60s.
