One of the most eagerly awaited films in Bollywood is Love & War, which Sanjay Leela Bhansali started production on with stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in 2024. They have recently resumed filming for this epic masterpiece after the new year. It appears that the main cast has been shooting dialogue-rich and emotionally intense scenes as of late.

As per a recent update from Midday, the trio – Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal – commenced a significant phase of the film Love & War at Film City, Mumbai on January 8, 2025. The scenes being shot during this phase are reported to be deeply emotional and vital to the plot.

A confidential informant disclosed to the media outlet that the filming of a particular scene was temporarily halted but has since resumed. It’s been unveiled that crucial scenes are being recorded until January 11th. Referring to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s knack for lengthy dialogues, the source commented, “Bhansali is renowned for his skill in creating dialogue-rich sequences that deeply connect with viewers. This production will be no exception.

The report added that Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky will have confrontational conversations.

Love & War centers around a love triangle and unfolds amidst a war setting. During the preliminary stages, Ranbir and Vicky were observed at an Air Force base. This movie is slated to hit theaters on March 20, 2026, during the extended holiday period that includes Ramzan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa.

During the New Year holiday, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and their daughter Raha Kapoor spent time in Thailand. They were joined by Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and others. The gang welcomed the New Year with fireworks and followed it up with a trip on a yacht.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif also headed out of Mumbai to ring in 2025.
