James Woods shared that his house miraculously remains intact amidst the ongoing fires in Los Angeles, which he initially believed had destroyed his home.
Incredible news! Against all odds, I’ve made it back to my place, the one they said was wiped out for good. Can you believe it? Not only am I standing on my property, but miraculously, my home is still there too! It’s a surreal sight in this apocalyptic landscape we’re living in now, but amidst the smoke and damage, it’s standing tall. The destruction around us is heartbreaking, yet here, there’s a glimmer of hope.
A remarkable event transpired – we found ourselves on our land, where our home was supposed to have been destroyed forever. Yet, surprisingly, it remains intact amidst this devastating surroundings. The term “standing” might seem relative here, but the damage is not as severe as the widespread destruction we see around us. From the deck area, the view presents a sight of resilience and survival.

Additionally, he posted a video showcasing a single street, with one half appearing untouched by the flames, while the other half was left in ruins by the fire.
Although it’s wonderful to see our home unscathed amidst such devastation, all one can ponder is the safety of our neighbors. Yesterday, I was convinced that our house had been destroyed, but luckily, fortune took a different turn.
On one side, pristine and untouched; on the other, devastation beyond recognition. Though we’re grateful to find our home unscathed amidst such chaos, it’s hard not to worry about our neighbors in this desolate landscape. Earlier in the week, it was mentioned that his house had been destroyed by a fire. On Wednesday morning very early, he shared a video on X, captioning it as “I took this last night from our charming little home in the Palisades.” Now, all the alarms are sounding simultaneously remotely. He also wrote, “Losing everything at once really challenges your spirit.
During a live CNN interview later in the day, Woods shared that his entire street was ablaze, yet he emphasized a remarkable instance where a neighbor managed to rescue an elderly resident suffering from dementia, just moments before the rescued individual’s house was engulfed by the flames.
He described the scene as resembling a blazing firestorm when he had to leave his house. Surrounding houses were ablaze, and all we could take were the clothes we wore.
A large number of famous actors from Hollywood have unfortunately lost their homes due to the wildfires. These include Anthony Hopkins, Billy Crystal, Mel Gibson, Jeff Bridges, Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton, Jamie Lee Curtis, Diane Warren, and Cary Elwes.
