She reminisced, “Upon entering his house, everything struck me as immense. ‘I looked around and thought, ‘Just like those villagers, I was behaving in the same manner.’ (Upon seeing his house, I was amazed at how vast it was, and I felt as if I was acting just like those who hail from rural areas).

She remarked, “Amit Ji recalled the entire event vividly. Later on set, he chuckled, admitting that your arrival had left you perplexed, as if you were wondering, ‘What’s going on here?’ To me, it was akin to visiting the home of someone our family admires greatly, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe.
During that very interview, the actress from Heeramandi talked about the hurdles she encountered when, as a feminist, she joined an industry predominantly filled with men.
Looking back at her challenging path, she openly shared about the hardships she faced and voiced her exasperation towards the inconsistencies, which ignited her spirit of defiance. She acknowledged that her rebellious nature was born out of her discontentment with the status quo.
Additionally, she mentioned that she remembered championing change in the production of Mann by employing a woman makeup artist. She clarified that this choice was hers, given the predominantly male labor union in the film industry’s makeup department, whereas hairdressers were usually women.
