Bollywood stars are frequently accompanied by their personal security team, who are responsible for ensuring their safety in public places. Longtime guards like Yusuf Ibrahim have spent decades in the industry and have had the privilege of working with many famous faces. Consequently, they have a wealth of anecdotes to share. Most recently, Ibrahim reminisced about an instance where Shah Rukh Khan reprimanded a fan for taking a photo without permission. He also emphasized that fans should respect boundaries. So, keep reading!
When conversing with Siddharth Kannan, Yusuf Ibrahim, the celebrity bodyguard, reminisced about an incident involving Shah Rukh Khan. He recounted a time when Khan had to correct a fan who took a selfie without permission. Later, Ibrahim emphasized the significance of boundaries in maintaining professional relationships between stars and their fans.
Yusuf pointed out that the media tends to focus on moments worthy of going viral, but keep in mind celebrities are people just like everyone else. When someone invades their personal space for a picture, especially if they might be in a different frame of mind at the time, it’s not appropriate. He suggested that fans should respect boundaries and instead ask politely before taking a photo.
The bodyguard of the famous personality added that while it may seem simple to pass judgment on stars based on viral videos, the true complexity of their lives is far greater. It might appear as though a star’s life is effortless, but enduring lengthy makeup sessions and working under strong lights for twelve consecutive hours certainly isn’t a walk in the park.
Amidst the relentless grind of their work, they scarcely find moments for themselves. So, when someone intrudes into those precious few hours, especially when they’re drained from a long day, it’s only natural for them to grow testy or agitated. “Remember, they’re human, and such responses are entirely comprehensible,” I mused.
In terms of professional endeavors, Shah Rukh Khan will appear next in the movie titled “King,” alongside Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and other cast members.
