Sundance: Arian Moayed, Celine Song Among 2025 Fest Jurors

2025’s Sundance Film Festival jury members have been revealed. Arian Moayed, Celine Song, and Reinaldo Marcus Green will serve in the U.S. Dramatic Competition category.

Song’s initial movie, called “Past Lives”, had its premiere at the festival, much like Green’s film titled “Monsters and Men”. In 2023, Moayed was alongside Nicole Holofcener at Sundance for their work on “You Hurt My Feelings”.

Or:

Song’s first feature film, “Past Lives”, was premiered at the festival, as was Green’s “Monsters and Men”. In 2023, Moayed teamed up with Nicole Holofcener for her movie “You Hurt My Feelings” at Sundance.

Lastly, Ava Cahen, Wanuri Kahiu, and Daniel Kaluuya will be judging the World Cinema Dramatic Competition.

In this Short Film Program Competition, the judging duties have been assigned to Kaniehtiio Horn, Maggie Mackay, and Kibwe Tavares. Meanwhile, it’s Elijah Wood who will be in charge of judging the NEXT section.

In their words, “Our community has a knack for uniting when passion and determination are at an all-time high, finding solace in the strong connections that make us so resilient.” They acknowledged our collective grief but stressed the importance of moving forward.
