Today’s subject hails from a prominent political family, yet his love for acting led him to Mumbai. Discussing no one else but Aayush Sharma, who is the brother-in-law of Salman Khan. He tied the knot with Salman’s youngest sister, Arpita Khan, back in November 2014. Together, they are parents to two children – Ahil and Ayat, born in the years 2016 and 2019 respectively.
Aayush, born in 1990, carries a powerful political heritage since his grandfather, Pandit Sukh Ram, served as a former cabinet minister. His father has garnered the MLA title on four occasions – three times for Congress and once for BJP. The family’s political influence in Himachal Pradesh politics spans over half a century, occupying a prominent position.
Even though he had a solid political background, Aayush decided to pursue his love for acting and embarked on a career as an extra dancer in the film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. During the Agenda Aaj Tak 2021 event, he shared that he had tried out for various TV shows, commercials, and junior artist positions.
He told his friend that he had discovered a movie being filmed at Mehboob Studios, which prompted him to call immediately, asking for assistance in securing a role in the production. He underscored that any part, such as dancing in the background, would be acceptable because it would provide him with valuable insights into filmmaking. The actor also mentioned that this was his initial experience observing a movie shoot, and he previously danced in the song Dilli Waali Girlfriend as a background performer.
Eventually, Aayush first stepped into the acting world back in 2018 with the movie Loveyatri, produced by Salman Khan. Since then, he worked on Antim under Salman Khan’s direction. Most recently, he appeared in Ruslaan, a film that hit theaters in 2024.
Apart from appearing in movies, Aayush is also known for his roles in several music videos, including Vishal Mishra’s “Manjha” and “Galti”, as well as Stebin Ben’s “Tera Hoke Nachda Fira”. He has been featured in additional videos as well.
