MrBeast Drafts Offer To Acquire TikTok

MrBeast, known as Jimmy Donaldson on YouTube, has expressed his intent to purchase TikTok, given the impending ban. This week, he made this statement on a platform called X: “Alright, if I have to, I’ll buy Tik Tok to prevent it from being banned.

A day after posting about it on social media, MrBeast informed his followers that several billionaires had expressed interest in purchasing something from him, saying “In all seriousness, I’ve received numerous messages from billionaires since my tweet. Let’s see if we can make this happen.” The situation appears to be progressing rapidly as MrBeast, demonstrating his commitment, uses the TikTok platform to address ByteDance (the company that owns TikTok) and the American public as a whole.

YouTube star MrBeast recently posted a TikTok video saying he’s met with several billionaires and wants to buy the platform because “America needs TikTok.” With a net worth of $500 million, MrBeast could potentially become a part-owner if his offer is accepted. Currently valued at approximately $300 billion, TikTok might have to be sold due to last year’s legislation signed by the Biden administration, which threatens to ban the app in the U.S. unless it’s bought by an American company, with the sale possibly being completed by January 19.

Honestly, an overwhelming number of wealthy individuals have contacted me following my tweet. Here’s hoping we can make it happen! 🤞🏻
