) as the main character, a foreign alien who, while on a mission to wipe out humanity, ends up crashing in Patience, Colorado. Stranded, he assumes the identity of the real Harry Vanderspeigle, a secretive doctor enjoying his vacation in the quiet town. The show has been incredibly popular since its release and currently holds an impressive 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

After Seasons 1 and 2 of “Resident Alien” premiered on a streaming platform around February last year, they swiftly climbed into the top 10 list. Ever since then, eager fans have been on tenterhooks for news about Season 3. Fortunately, thanks to What’s-on-Netflix, we now have an answer! The third season of “Resident Alien” is set to debut in the United States on Netflix on February 13th, 2025.

Currently, you can only watch the new season of Resident Alien on Netflix in the United States. However, it’s hoped that it will become available for viewers in other regions soon. Or, by the time Season 4 premieres on USA Network (switching from its original network SyFy), which is due later this year.

‘Resident Alien’ Has Been Met With Rave Reviews

Originating from the mind of Chris Sheridan and inspired by the eponymous Dark Horse comic book penned by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse, Resident Alien features Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, along with Alan Tudyk who is known for his roles in Firefly and Creature Commandos. The show has received overwhelming praise from critics, with Season 1 garnering a stunning 94% approval rating, while Season 2 earned a perfect 100%. In a secluded Colorado mountain town, an extraterrestrial disguises himself as the local doctor named Harry Vanderspeigle. His sinister plan to annihilate all humans is jeopardized when he discovers that one of the town’s children, a nine-year-old boy, can perceive his true alien form. As Harry initially adapts to a peaceful existence, complications arise when he becomes embroiled in a local murder investigation and must adapt to this new environment while grappling with the ethical quandary posed by his covert mission on Earth.

Without giving anything away, Resident Alien Season 3 ends with several unresolved storylines for Season 4 to tackle. Filming for the fourth season concluded at the end of last year, and although precise plot points are still secret, fans should be excited for Harry’s comeback, as well as more of the quirky turmoil in Patience, sometime this year.
