Netflix to Open Restaurant in Las Vegas Next Month As Live Experiences Business Expands (Exclusive)

In Las Vegas, the latest residence isn’t about a musical performance, but rather an experience to savor all that Netflix has in store.

Netflix is set to launch its newest interactive venture, the “Netflix Bites” full-service eatery, on the gaming floor at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas starting February 20th.

Starting February 20th, Netflix will introduce its latest experiential project – a full-service restaurant called “Netflix Bites” – right on the casino floor of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Both sentences convey the same information but are phrased slightly differently for variety and readability.

Netflix initially introduced their food concept in Los Angeles back in 2023, but this trial run only lasted approximately six weeks and primarily focused on dinner service. In contrast, the newly announced Netflix Bites is being referred to as a “residency,” implying a more prolonged commitment than the L.A. pop-up.

As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the Las Vegas edition of Netflix Bites is set to offer meals all day, every day! That’s right, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can visit us seven days a week for a delightful culinary experience.

Apart from dishes reminiscent of popular Netflix food series such as Chef’s Table and Dinner Time Live with David Chang, the Las Vegas Netflix Bites event will also showcase more interactive culinary delights inspired by various Netflix shows like Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, One Piece, Love Is Blind, Nailed It!, and The Floor is Lava, to name a few.

So, what’s on the menu? Some of the offerings, per Netflix, will include:

  • Eleven’s Feast,” crispy chicken and waffle sliders perfect for foodies who love a little dimension-hopping, served both ‘Hawkins’ style and ‘Upside Down’.
  • Bridgerton Regency Tea,” a lavish three-tiered tea service with finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries straight from the Ton served with a menu designed by Lady Whistledown herself.
  • La Casa del Sangria,” a Spanish-style cocktail with gold-dusted mint leaves, served in a lockbox that’ll have guests solving a puzzle, challenging for even the sharpest of the Money Heist crew.
  • Too Hot to Handle-inspired Bloody Mary, a cocktail so spicy it comes with its own potholder in case guests can’t handle the heat!

Besides granting priority seating and reservations, along with exclusive restaurant experiences and unique cocktail options, Netflix announces that Mastercard holders will also be given special opportunities, such as attendance at events like Netflix Bites and the forthcoming “Stranger Things” Broadway production. Mastercard serves as Netflix’s official partner for these experiences, allowing its users to enjoy a variety of exclusive events, including these mentioned.

Netflix Bites’ latest release further reinforces Netflix’s venture into live events. The platform has been organizing immersive experiences tied to shows such as Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and Squid Game in various global cities.

This year, I’m thrilled to be part of the group that’s bringing Netflix to life! We’ll be opening up Netflix Houses in Pennsylvania and Texas, offering a blend of delicious food, unique retail experiences, and immersive activities. Can’t wait to step inside these magical worlds!

Nonetheless, a prolonged visit at one of Las Vegas’ bustling casinos represents another strategic step by the company to establish a presence in the physical world.

Netflix Bites Vegas is all about bringing beloved shows from the screen to your plate for a delicious culinary adventure,” said Josh Simon, Netflix’s VP of consumer products. “We’re thrilled to join forces with MGM Grand, masters in hospitality and fantastic Vegas entertainment, to provide fans with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in their favorite tales by sampling the worlds of Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live with David Chang, and many more, in bite-sized portions.

Mike Neubecke, president and COO of MGM Grand, states that Las Vegas is designed to provide guests with extraordinary escapes into different realms, similar to Netflix. He explains that partnering with Netflix for Bites Vegas is perfect because both parties excel in captivating and entertaining audiences. By collaborating, they’re crafting a unique destination that seamlessly combines entertainment and culinary delights – something only MGM and Netflix can achieve.

It’s worth mentioning that another significant entertainment company, NBCUniversal, plans to launch an experiential venture in Las Vegas this year. Instead of being a seasonal event like Halloween Horror Nights, it will operate all year round. The city will host haunted houses inspired by movies such as “The Exorcist: Believer” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”.
