Art Outreach Singapore introduces Space, an exhibition featuring pieces selected from the prestigious Pierre Lorinet Collection. This exhibition, orchestrated by Edward Mitterrand, assembles prominent figures in contemporary art. Their works offer unique interpretations of natural and architectural motifs, resulting in a stunning combination of paintings, sculptures, and photographs.
The 8,000-square-foot ex-garment factory at New Bahru plays host to an exhibition that explores concepts from the vastness of space to intimate proximity. Delving into themes such as displacement, substance, and existence, Space encourages visitors to ponder on the spaces they inhabit and the bonds they nurture.
Notable artists gracing our exhibition are Sterling Ruby, Ugo Rondinone, Theaster Gates, Louise Bourgeois, David Altmejd, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Thomas Bayrle, Christo, Liz Deschenes, Latifa Echakhch, Mimosa Echard, Tracey Emin, Mark Handforth, Louise Lawler, Sherrie Levine, Richard Long, Allan McCollum, Kenneth Noland, Frank Stella, and Danh Vō.
During the Singapore Art Week, you can visit the exhibition titled Space By The Pierre Lorinet Collection, which is open for viewing until February 2, 2025.
