As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but marvel at how fittingly titled “Quiet Storm” was for the 3.PARADIS Fall/Winter 2025 line. On one hand, it mirrors the literal image of a storm, reflecting designer Emeric Tchatchoua’s adolescent memories of Montreal winters, where snow-laden structures create a surreal landscape. Yet, symbolically, the name carries a profound message that resonates deeply. It urges us to focus on the here and now, encouraging each viewer to find tranquility in the present moment, just like a quiet storm, which, despite its intensity, invites stillness and reflection.
In my own words, I’d say, “I found this collection to be a deeply personal exploration of instances when time seems to stand still, where the ordinary is transformed into something magical.” This was my takeaway from the post-show statement Tchatchoua made.
This collection seems designed to look like it was snapped in a single, fleeting moment. The striking assortment of garments and accessories focuses on one specific instance, creating a style language that clashes with the outdoor environment but embraces voluminous shapes and gentle fabrics instead. In the Quiet Storm presentation, Tchatchoua opted to sprinkle snow on various silhouettes, using it as an eye-catching detail on trenchcoat shoulders and more subtly embossing it on all-white fur collars.
White is prominently featured in Quiet Storm’s color scheme, accentuated by splashes of red and blue. Distinctive white garments such as a quilted puffer jacket (accompanied by pants and gloves) can be found alongside a selection of plush pullovers and zip-ups. Notably, collars are also part of the collection.
As a gamer, I’m always on the lookout for fresh, unique styles that reflect my passion for gaming and sports. External collaborators like the seasoned partner Mitchell & Ness x NBA, Dumas Paris, and the legendary Bruce Lee, have contributed to an exciting lineup of pillows, duvets, and clothing pieces inspired by basketball.
Tchatchoua, a fellow enthusiast, draws inspiration from none other than Bruce Lee himself. The collection includes a two-toned cropped jacket in blue that’s tailored for a snug fit, a clean navy blue cardigan adorned with a chest patch, and the standout piece – a suit embellished with NBA patches all over its upper half. These basketball-inspired pieces are sure to level up my gaming wardrobe!
As a gamer, I’d say: Each partnership brings a unique layer to this tale – warmth and self-discovery, excitement and immersion, and the eternal echo of legendary scenes. Combined, they enrich the story of a life fully experienced in the present, moment by moment, as Tchatchoua put it.
