LEGO has unveiled its new collectible: the LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers set, developed in partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. This 2,615-piece creation recreates the renowned Sunflowers (1889) painting by Vincent van Gogh in a three-dimensional LEGO style. The design includes adjustable petals, a removable frame, and a tile displaying Van Gogh’s signature for a truly immersive experience.
This setup is designed to mimic the artist’s unique brushstrokes and showcase the painting’s vibrant yellows and dramatic play of light and shadow. Starting from March 1, builders can elevate their experience by tuning into an exclusive podcast featuring LEGO Designer Stijn Oom and Senior Curator Nienke Bakker.
In honor of its debut, LEGO has created two life-size Sunflower models made from bricks. These will be permanently showcased at the LEGO Store in Amsterdam and the Van Gogh Museum. Furthermore, artist Stijn Oom will be signing LEGO sets at LEGO Stores located in Amsterdam (on March 1) and Marseille (on March 2).
You can pre-order the set as early as January 28, 2025, with the official release happening on March 1, 2025, for a price of $199.99 in U.S. dollars.
