I find the recent introduction of a throuple to be fascinating and refreshing, as it’s not often portrayed in media. It was amusing to see Chris and Michael expressing their motivations as being more about sexual attraction rather than heartbreak, saying they were turned on by it. This unexpected twist in the genre is delightful, sensible, funny, and even a bit chilling. I didn’t dwell too much on the possibility of their exposure in the end. We aimed to hint at films that offer a final wink suggesting the killer might still be alive, but we enjoyed that it ultimately turned out to be Monica.
