In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, when I arrive at Maleshov, I’ll encounter a pair of personal missions that demand my attention: locating Rosa’s precious book and rescuing Hans.
The two positions, occupied by Hans and Rosa, are connected since they’re situated within the same tower. However, neither Hans’ nor Rosa’s book locations are marked on the map, making it necessary for you to locate them both while avoiding detection or elimination by the security personnel.
How to get the Maleshov Tower key in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After arriving at Maleshov, proceed towards the castle’s right side. Enter through the doorway, where you’ll encounter a guard within. Deal with him, then descend the stairs and veer to your left. Disregard the subsequent guard and take a left turn upon entering the room.
In this particular room lies Drahomira, who holds the key to Maleshov Tower. To progress, you must secure this key from her, either by subduing her (gently knock her unconscious) or by discreetly acquiring it, but I advise against attempting the latter. Do ensure that you also pick up these three additional keys from her.

How to get Rosa’s book in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Grab the keys, then head left. Ensure you stealthily dodge the guard and proceed beyond the main entrance. Locate the staircase directed towards Maleshov Tower, unlock its door. In this area, there’s a flight of stairs ascending but watch out as it’s monitored by two guards. Wait for them to depart before making your move upwards.
Currently, make your way up to the second floor where you’ll encounter Hans and Vauquelin Brabant. Your task is to guide them out of the area. If you have any extra weapons, give them to them. Wait until it’s safe before signaling both of them to leave.
In the room where you entered to help Hans, locate Rosa’s book by taking the opposite door. There, you will find Lady Ofka. The simplest method to acquire the book is by asking her nicely to lend it to you, explaining your purpose. If that’s not possible, you could try sneaking past and taking the book quietly.
Additionally, it seems there’s a third choice too. If both Hans and Brabant are instructed to go to the gate simultaneously, expect a mess, leaving the area void for you to retrieve the book. Upon acquiring it, make your way back to Ruthard Palace to deliver the book.
