When embarking on the ‘Forged of Star-Stuff’ mission, one of Avowed’s numerous side tasks, your objective becomes locating a Starmetal forge. The quest begins as soon as you discover the first piece within the Living Lands, but there are no instructions provided on where to go. Interestingly, there is only one blacksmith in the game who can work with such rare metal.

Regardless of your current stage in the campaign, you might find yourself investing a significant amount of time to reach certain locations. Once there, you’ll have the opportunity to craft two exceptionally potent, one-of-a-kind weapons. While they may not rank among the top weapons in Avowed, they will undoubtedly be valuable additions to your arsenal, making the effort worthwhile.

Take The Starmetal To Forgemaster Dela in Solace Keep

Further Into The Campaign

In the game Avowed, to craft Starmetal, you should visit Forgemaster Dela who resides in Solace Keep. This location can be found within Gallawain’s Tusks, the last region in the game. As you advance through the majority of the campaign, you will naturally unlock access to this region over time.

Joining Marius on our journey towards Solace Keep, I’ll find myself granted entry to this mysterious place, unlocking its secrets and allowing me to delve into its depths. Upon reaching the main hall, it’s simply a matter of proceeding straight ahead and descending the stairs. There, you’ll encounter Dela, a skilled dwarf artisan eager to shape Starmetal for you.

His enthusiasm for his craft is palpable as he chats about the intricacies of his work, before presenting an opportunity to hand over the Starmetal piece I already possess and have him transform it into something extraordinary for me.

What You Can Make With The Starmetal In Avowed

A Sword Or Arquebus

In the game “Avowed”, Forgemaster Dela is able to create two weapons for you: an arquebus named Moonstrike and a sword known as Meteor Blade. Out of these two, I opted to craft the Moonstrike, because in my experience, potent arquebus weapons are less common than swords. However, you can still hunt down additional Starmetal locations within “Avowed” to manufacture both weapons and even upgrade them into superior versions.
