‘The Boys’ Stages ‘Supernatural’ Reunion as Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins Board Final Season

As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the climactic season of “The Boys” is set to bring together an alliance reminiscent of those heartwarming team-ups popular in CW shows from the 2000s and 2010s.

Actors Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Jensen Ackles, who previously worked together on a supernatural series, are set to collaborate once again. This time, they’ll be joining forces with their former series creator Eric Kripke, now the showrunner of a Prime Video series. In season five, Padalecki and Collins will make guest appearances; specifics about these roles are being kept under wraps at the moment. However, it has been confirmed that the three will appear together in some scenes on the Amazon-owned streaming platform.

There’s no word on whether a 1967 Chevrolet Impala will also be involved.

The news was announced on The Boys‘ social media pages; watch the Instagram video below.

Kripke announced last year that “The Boys” would conclude with its fifth season, following his initial vision for the show. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he explained, “The series is a serialized narrative centered around Butcher and Homelander colliding, and it relies on both characters. Therefore, you can’t prolong this indefinitely; eventually, they must collide.

Dean Ackles portrays the character of Soldier Boy in “The Boys,” and he’s slated to appear alongside Aya Cash in an upcoming spin-off series titled “Vought Rising.

After his role in Supernatural, Padalecki has spent four seasons on The CW’s Walker, and he’s now working with Walker’s showrunner, Anna Fricke, to create a medical drama for CBS. He is represented by UTA, Industry Entertainment, Shelter PR, and Fuller Law.

Collins’ recent credits include The CW’s Gotham Knights and Amazon’s feature film Encounter.
